A board that makes you smile
Sometimes the most beautiful things emerge from an empty space on the wall.
Previously, our notice board in the spa area was used to announce treatments and inform our guests. When we had to discontinue the spa services due to staffing reasons, the board – a simple black panel – was left bare and empty. But instead of leaving it unused, we turned this empty space into a true highlight: our Lächelbrett – our ‘smile board’.
Since then, new quotes adorn the wall every day – sometimes playful, sometimes thoughtful, sometimes cheeky. And the best part: our guests pause, read, smile, and carry a little joy with them into the day. Many of our team members also enjoy these daily messages.
A project that makes our apprentices’ hearts beat faster
In July, one of our apprentices took on the task of selecting the daily quotes for the very first time – with a great sense of humor and a delicate touch. On her days off, our housekeeping team made sure that no space was left empty. Thank you, dear Lucienne, for your dedication and creativity – you truly gave our Lächelbrett a very special touch in July.
What we love most is watching our guests pause in the morning, waiting eagerly for the new quote of the day and taking a moment to read it.
